It's Elder Law Month! May is designated National Elder Law Month

Here at the Elder Law Center of Southside Virginia, PLLC, we have devoted our entire practice to estate planning and elder law issues.  Robert W. Haley, our Managing Attorney is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), a Certified Elder Law Attorney and in 2013 was named to the Council of Advanced Practitioners (CAP) of NAELA.  Presently there are only 77 attorneys nationwide that are members of CAP.  Mr. Haley is also a Board Member and charter member of the Virginia Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (VAELA).

Associate Attorney Jessica S. Henson has been with the firm for almost 18 months.  In that time she has become very active in the local and state bar associations as well as NAELA, VAELA and the Life Care Planning Law Firm Association.  In June, she will attend an intensive education experience focusing on planning, drafting and administering Special Needs Trusts.  Jessica is quickly becoming an "expert" in her own right!

With a growing population of Americans age 65 years or older, the importance of planning for one’s legal needs has become essential.  Elder Law attorneys throughout the country will commemorate National Elder Law Month by providing public seminars, living will days, Elder Law clinics, and other activities that will educate the public.

In an effort to grow our presence on social media, if you share one of our Facebook posts on your timeline, or retweet a Twitter post, or plus1 and Google+ post, you will be entered into a drawing for a complete Basic Estate Planning package, a $500 value!!

So help us grow build our social media audience and have a chance to win!
