Attorney Robert W. Haley has been recently nominated and accepted into the Council for Advanced Practitioners (CAP) of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). “I am very excited to achieve this level of recognition so early in my practice!” said Haley. This prestigious designation raises Haley to a level which has been reached by less than 90 Elder Law attorneys nationwide. Council members are recognized as innovators of the profession; instrumental in leading the future of Elder Law; providing the “vision” for role modeling and mentoring; and are a major source of speakers, writers and leaders of NAELA Programs. Mr. Haley holds an AV rating under the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings, the highest rating for ethical standards and professional ability and is also a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA®), which is the only approved designation for certification by the American Bar Association, through the National Elder Law Foundation.
Robert W. Haley is Managing Attorney of The Estate and Elder Law Center of Southside, Virginia with offices in Danville and Bassett. Haley is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA®) and is the only CELA® in Southside Virginia. A native of Bassett, he served on the Board and is a Charter Member of the Virginia Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He also has been nominated by his peers as Super Lawyer in the Elder Law field for the last several years and has attained an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell®. The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings™ are an objective indicator of a lawyer's high ethical standards and professional ability, generated from evaluations of lawyers by other members of the bar and the judiciary in the United States and Canada.
He and his staff offer personal attention and the highest quality of legal representation and counsel, all for a pre-determined fixed fee! Mr. Haley believes that hourly billing makes clients hesitant to call on their counsel and by utilizing fixed fees, his clients know from the beginning of the attorney-client relationship, they have more than an attorney, they have personal counsel.
Whether you are 21 or 81, you need seasoned legal counsel. With Robert W. Haley, you can gain peace of mind knowing that whatever the question, you have a starting point. Robert W. Haley is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA®) and his expertise is in the estate planning and asset protection. Both of these fields are very complex and each client is different. This is why Mr. Haley limits his practice to only elder law and estate planning and probate. But as your personal attorney, Mr. Haley can also counsel and guide you on any type of legal matter, ensuring you are represented by the best, most appropriate counsel. You have worked hard to provide for your retirement; Now you are unsure how to protect your nest egg from the uncertainty of Wall Street or the haunting specter of nursing home care or you are working harder than ever for your family. Are you taking the steps today to ensure your future is bright? Protecting your assets is much more than diversification. Estate Planning is much more than drafting a will; Mr. Haley will not only survey your current situation and make suggestions, but with the cooperation of trusted financial advisors together we can map out an estate plan that can help you attain your family's goals.
“I believe that my success is directly related to your success. I want to be your family's attorney for a lifetime!”
