This Week is National Estate Planning Awareness Week! The idea and motivation behind this nationally recognized time from October 17th through October 23rd, is to bring community-wide awareness to the need for proper estate planning, and for people to ask themselves this important question: "Have I properly planned for the future?"
Established in 2008 by the United States House of Representatives, National Estate Planning Awareness Week was created to help the public understand what estate planning is and why having an estate plan in place is so important! Have you or a loved one put off having met with an elder law attorney to make sure that the proper planning is in place for your family's situation? Or, are you unsure the older existing estate plan you already have in place still currently meet your family's specific needs due to unknown changes in laws or regulations?
